QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE To Open For THE ROLLING STONES

December 19, 2005

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE are among the many artists who have been tapped to open for THE ROLLING STONES on the rock legends' 2006 North American tour. Frontman Josh Homme & Co. will hit the stage before the STONES in Las Vegas (March 4) and Los Angeles (March 6).

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE frontman Josh Homme recently told Billboard.com that he plans to record a new "Desert Sessions" album sometime before February, in which he collaborates with many different artists on a series of recorded jams and spontaneous songwriting sessions. A live QUEENS CD/DVD called "Over the Years and Through the Woods" came out on November 22.
